Get ready to embark on a flavourful journey with HopOn  South Loop on Saturday, August 16, 2025! Proudly sponsored by The Steele Group, this edition of our popular craft beer adventure focuses on the vibrant brewery scene in Cambridge, Ontario.

Hop on and off our convenient shuttles at your own pace and discover the unique brews and atmospheres of Cambridge’s finest breweries, including Four Fathers Brewing Co., Jackass Brewing, Sparrow Brewing & Roasting Co., Collective Arts Cambridge, Wave Maker Craft Brewery, and Farm League Brewing. We also have The Bruce Craft House featuring a special menu & craft brew spread for attendees.

FAQs

  • Do I have to be at least 19 to board?  Yes.
  • Do I need to stay on the same bus? Nope! Take your time. Shuttles arrive every 20 minutes.
  • Are dogs permitted on-board? Yup! Just needs to be well behaved and leased. And clean up if there’s any mess.
  • Where do I start? All of our buses and breweries will have HopOn volunteers who will scan your ticket, wristband you, give you your sample tokens, and your HopOn backpack between Noon and 4PM. Feel free to start anywhere you like!
  • How do I get there? We recommend using Grand River Transit (GRT)!  Your ticket includes free access to GRT and ION. Just show your ticket or wristband to board.  The easiest way to arrive is by the 302 ION Bus from Fairway Station. Take it to Pinebush Station and walk to the Cambridge Hotel/Bruce Craft House. You’ll see a yellow “HopOn HERE” sign. The 302 ION Bus can take you back north at the end of your day!
  • Can I shop at the breweries? Absolutely and it’s encouraged! You will get a backpack at the start of your adventure. Fill it up!
  • How do the samples work? When you arrive, you’ll be given 10 sample tokens. Breweries may have different redemption values, but each token will get you a ~4oz sample.  Find one you like and pints will be available for purchase.
  • What if I’m not a beer fan?  Most of our participating breweries have alternatives (cider, gluten-free, cocktails & mocktails) available, but to be honest, there’s a hop in our logo… we like beer!
  • Can I get a discount? Yup! Come in a group of 10 and you save $5 each
